ABOUT US

White Oak Fellowship is a family of faith and love with a commitment to making disciples, teaching disciples, and enabling disciples for life in Christ Jesus.

CORE BELIEFS

Members of White Oak Fellowship voluntarily band ourselves together under this statement of faith and practice:

  • There is one God who is revealed in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. I Corinthians 8:6; John 4:24

  • Jesus Christ is Head of the church, His body. Colossians 1:18; Ephesians 1:22-23

  • The autonomy of the local church in governance and ordination. The ordinances of the church are the Lord’s Supper and believer’s baptism by immersion. I Corinthians 11:23-26; Romans 6:4-7

  • The virgin birth of the eternal Christ in the flesh, the eternal Son of God, who died for our sins, was resurrected the third day and is coming back. This is based on the Gospel Accounts of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John as well as other passages.

  • The Bible is God’s Word and truth without mixture of error. II Timothy 3:16-17; Hebrews 1:1; II Peter 1:20-21

  • Salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Ephesians 2:4-9

  • The priesthood of every believer and of all believers. I Peter 2:9

  • The urgent need to reach the lost world with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Matthew 28:19-20

  • The sanctity of human life from conception to natural death. Psalm 139:13-16; Isaiah 43:3-4

  • Biblical marriage of one man and one woman in a covenant relationship with God and with one another. Genesis 1:27-28; Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:5-6
